Love your podcast. Listen to every one on my ipod! Keep them coming.

Hey, a hot topic right now is the BASS Federation Nation, the grass roots angler program that really jump started bass fishing back in the 80s and 90s. Rumors have surfaced about BASS selling off or getting rid of their Federation trails or various media writers and radio shows have been talking about how this would be very bad for BASS or telling stories why BASS needs to keep it around.

I was at the 2010 BASS Federation national championship at the red river and Keith Allen said on the mic that “this kids Federation story needs to be told and is very powerful and inspiring, especially for young anglers”. The anglers name was Smiley from California and I found his website: http://www.jamessmileyfishing.com

I guess he fished federation tournaments as a boy which kept him away from drugs and gangs growing up and now he’s trying to live the dream and become an elite pro. Cool story and the kid seems to know how to promote himself well and is with big names like Bass Pro Shops, Toyota, Lucky Craft looks like.

I think he’d be a good change of pace and addition to one of your radio shows.
