Two notes for bass fisherman listening to the podcast:
- Every inch of marsh destroyed on front end (the coast) pushes the saltwater line further back into the marsh, destroying bass habitat on the back end.
- Marsh bass will eat the heck out of brown shrimp. Destroying the bottom of the food chain hurts both saltwater and freshwater fish.

i agree the oil spill will be bad for years to come is’s a shame because it’s happening to the most fertil fishing grounds in the world. we have posted info on the spill on our new website, fishingjopurnals.com. while your there read fishing reports or post your own fishing report. you can do so for any area in the USA. move the fishing map to get fishing weather, forecast and fishing reports for the map view. hope you enjoy using it as much as we enjoy building it.
